Concealer

Shade

A cream concealer to help cover dark circles, blemishes, scars, and other imperfections. It also contains tea tree oil, which helps soothe spots while using it. Win-win.

How to use

You can use Concealer on its own or after Foundation or Tinted Moisturiser. Always apply before any powders such as Bronzer and Anti-Shine Powder.

Using your (clean) finger, take a little bit of Concealer from the pot and dot onto any areas you'd like to cover. Remember, a little goes a long way and you can always add more if needed.

Using your finger or a slightly damp Face Sponge, blend the concealer by tapping it lightly until it's completely blended in.

TIP: If you're using Concealer with War Paint For Men Foundation or Tinted Moisturiser, get the same shade. Our shades have been made to work together, so there's no need to choose a shade lighter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whatever you want to know about War Paint products, we've got you. Find the most commonly asked FAQs below or you can email us via info@warpaintformen.com, or DM us on social media and we'll get back to you.
How do I know what shade of Concealer to use?

We have a quick Shade Finder quiz to help you find the shade most suitable for your skin tone: https://warpaintformen.com/pages/shade-finder

You can also send a photo of yourself in natural light to info@warpaintformen.com and we'd be happy to advise.

If you're still unsure which shade to go for, we have a Sample Set so you can try out shades before committing to the full-sized products. This means you can get the right shade the first time around. It includes Primer, Concealer, Tinted Moisturiser and Foundation: https://warpaintformen.com/collections/products/products/war-paint-sample-set.

Is the Concealer waterproof?

Our products should last throughout the day if they’re applied in the morning, however our products have not been tested for being completely waterproof or sweatproof.

Should I go a shade lighter in my Concealer compared to Foundation or Tinted Moisturiser?

It's best to choose the same shade of Concealer as you would wear in Tinted Moisturiser or Foundation. Our Concealers have already been formulated to be a little bit lighter than the base products so that they make a good pair. If you go a shade lighter than it could look un-natural.

How do I cover a spot with concealer?

"Use a light touch to dab the Concealer onto the area that needs it most. Using your (clean) finger or a Face Sponge, lightly dab the edges to blend it into the rest of your skin. You can add more layers until the desired effect is achieved.

If you've been busy massacring your skin so the spot now resembles a wound, be sure to use an antibacterial on-the-spot treatment first. If it's scabbed over, definitely go in with moisturiser and let it dry before applying any concealer. "

Should I apply Concealer before or after Tinted Moisturiser/Foundation?

There are no strict rules when applying makeup. But we'd recommend applying Foundation/Tinted Moisturiser first and Concealer second, or you could end up spreading the Concealer around your face.

SUBTLE. NATURAL. UNDETECTABLE.

War Paint makeup is light coverage and matte, so no one will know you're wearing makeup unless you tell them. You can simply enjoy that "you look great, mate" moment.
